I had the great opportunity to work with Builders Choice, INC, a modular construction company in Anchorage, Alaska, on a complete redesign of their company site. The vision was to clean up the site, make content easier to find, and be able to make content changes easily. The result… beauty through simplicity.

During the summer in Alaska, the sun sets very late in the evening. This timelapse was recorded between 10:00pm-midnight back in July. When the sun takes so long to set, it makes for beautiful, long sunsets; perfect for timelapse photography.

Earlier this year, I was asked to create a fund raising video for a local non-profit in Knoxville, TN called Forever Families. Bethany and I traveled to Winshape Retreat Center in Rome, Georgia for a weekend of filming and were able to capture this these incredible stories. Take a look.

A few weeks ago, Bethany and I spent went hiking in the mountains behind our house in Anchorage, AK. It had snowed the night before and we thought it would be a good day to get out and do some exploring.

I recently had an opportunity to join an online community of Star Wars fans in recreating a crowd sourced version of “Star Wars: Return of The Jedi”. Some friends and I picked a scene and recreated it from scratch, adding our own sound effects and animations. We had a lot of fun and hope our scene gets picked for the final cut. [...]

In 2009, my wife and I traveled to Rivera Maya, Mexico for our honeymoon. On our last day, we woke up early to catch the sunrise. We will never forget that sunrise. I call this one, “Heaven’s Projector”. This is easily one of my favorite panoramic pictures.

I took this picture about a year and a half ago up at a cabin outside of Dandridge, TN. It was a densely foggy morning and the sun was still dawning when I snapped this three picture photomerge.

In 2010, I started exploring the technique of stitching pictures together to create panoramas. This was one of my first successful stitches. Shot with a 50mm 1.8 @ an aperture of 11, overlapping each frame about 20%. Each picture was taken in the portrait orientation.
